Our Philosophy
Change doesn't arrive citywide. It starts on one block.
LIFE 101 believes meaningful change is never abstract. It begins with one mentor who decides to show up. One young person who decides to trust them. One family that starts to believe things can be different.
A city changes the way a person does — one honest relationship at a time.
Multiply that relationship across a block, and you get a stronger block. Multiply it across a neighborhood, and you get a stronger neighborhood. Multiply it across Richmond, and you get a city that believes in its next generation. This map is how we track that multiplication — not as statistics, but as a living record of where hope is taking root.
